Machine Profiles

Machine Profiles are named backups of your saved application preferences and GRBL settings lines from $$ (for example: $0, $1, $100-$132). Save your preferences in the Settings Editor first, then choose Create or Update here to capture them alongside the GRBL editor contents. Profiles also capture saved DRO precision, camera URLs, and AI connection, text-layout and G-code generation preferences. Prompts, replies, workflows, text content, drafts, jobs, macros and API keys are excluded. Backups can contain private saved URLs; share them carefully. Selecting or importing a profile never applies settings to the browser or controller. Read Current Controller Settings only reads a previously captured snapshot; it does not connect or send commands. On the Control page, run View Settings ($$) first to capture that snapshot. Export includes saved profiles only: choose Update first to include name or GRBL editor changes. Older profiles gain application/workspace preferences only when you explicitly Update them.
